What it is: a mini encyclopedia for kids with over 350 entries.

What you do with it: point to the area on the globe, zoom in, tap on a flag or a picture representing particular country or a landmark, choose a topic and read the description. There are some additional activities like quizzes, a horoscope calculator etc, audio stories etc.

What we liked: good concept, number of entries, interesting idea for the interface.

What we didn't like: the navigation is very confusing: many of the pictures are not clickable or there is little association with the content (we click on a pic of a train in Russia and we'd like to see some information about the train, not about Russian palaces). The puzzle-like interface doesn't make too much sense. There is no logic in grouping and presenting of the entries. There is no audio narration. Some of the entries or connections can be difficult to understand without extra explanation from the parent (why are the entries about mobile phones and portable radios connected with Japan). We found some of the entries objectionable (e.g. about the beer festival in Germany, or the picture of a German chef with a Hitler-like mustache). The additional activities (like quizzes) are very simple.
