LH Animal Sounds

What it is: a simple interactive app with 44 pics of animals and sounds they make.

What you do with it: choose an animal by spinning the wheel on the screen or touching an animal on the wheel and listen to the sound it makes.

What we liked: kid-friendly animal sounds (they are made by a human voice, not a real animal).

What we didn't like: not much interaction (just very basic animation when you touch the picture). The illustrations are very nice but we had two issues here: they don't match the setting (many of the animals look like they are suspended in mid-air) and for younger kids (the target group here) there are too many abstract details in the pictures (like the rooster holding a stopwatch or the camera on the camel's back). The operation could be a bit easier for younger kids (it's difficult to point to a desired animal on the wheel).
