What it is: a sorting game promoting healthy eating habits.

What you do with it: try to sort vegetables, fruits and grains moving on 3 conveyor belts and avoid obstacles. Get extra points and bonuses for stacking items together, shooing birds away etc. As you progress the levels (there are 32 in the game) get more and more difficult.

What we liked: the concept (promotion of healthy eating through a game), funny graphics and sound effects. Healthy eating tips and instructions displayed before each level. The game is very well put together and fun to play.

What we didn't like: the game may be too fast paced for younger kids. The tips and instructions are text only (no audio) therefore we recommend parental assistance.

Best for: Brain teasers, Attention & concentration, Eye-hand coordination, Thinking & problem solving

What it is: a puzzle game requiring attention, concentration and quick reactions.

What you do with it: turn blocks of squares into 'smilies' by marking groups of blocks with corners of the same color. Avoid obstacles (like exploding bombs), collect bonuses to increase the score . The initial layout of the blocks is loosely related to 7 real buildings like the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Empire State Building or the Eiffel Tower.

What we liked: the concept (the game requires attention, ability to predict future moves, gets more challenging as the user progresses to another level). Simple graphics and animations, easy controls. We also liked the 'prompting' feature (suggest 'next move' when you are stuck with a particular layout).

What we didn't like: please note it is not a purely educational app. Requires parental help (instructions, tips, assistance). For some children may be too challenging (which can lead to kid's frustration), there is no way to turn the time limit off (would be good as an option). Contains external links (Facebook, Twitter, high-score tables etc).

Overall Score: 39/100

Best for: Games, Attention & concentration, Eye-hand coordination, Interaction

What it is: a simple arcade game with requiring quick reactions and eye-hand coordination.

What you do with it: tilt the device (or use buttons) to avoid falling objects (sweets, toothpaste cap) to protect your 'tooth'. Try catching other objects for bonuses (e.g. bits of toothpaste to restore your 'health') and to collect coins (which you can exchange for 'mustaches' for decorating your tooth).

What we liked: simple '8bit' graphics, 'real game' experience, simple controls, fun factor. Good for attention and eye-hand coordination practice.

What we didn't like: limited educational value.
