Z is for Zebra - Learn Letter Sounds

What it is: an app for learning letters and letter sounds.

What you do with it: slide the screens and learn letters and sounds by tapping on pictures and letters.

What we liked: both letter sounds and phonics available. Simple interface and operation, nice, clear illustrations. It is possible to record your own pronounciation.

What we didn't like:inconsistent way of playing sounds, additional Matching Game available as an in-app purchase (in our opinion should be included in this price), contains ads easily accessible to the child.
