Wubbzy's Magic School - Android version

What it is: an interactive storybook (about 18 pages long) featuring the TV series character Wubbzy. Extra activities: 3 educational mini-games (a memory game with shape recognition, an alphabet game and a sight word recognition game), 2 videos and a coloring activity. 'Read to me', 'read & play', 'just a book' (simple version with no interactions) reading modes.

What you do with it: read the story yourself or listen to the narration. Touch the objects in pages for simple animations, sounds and additional activities (e.g. counting practice).

What we liked: many interactive elements complementing the storyline. Illustrations and animations. Funny characters. Sounds and sound backgrounds. Simple but engaging educational activities. Ease of use, spoken instructions, no distracting elements. Good reading options (words are highlighted, you can touch a word to have it read out). The 'Just a Book' mode. Overall quality of the app.

What we didn't like: too many 'tap to jiggle' type interactions (compared to other Wubzzy apps).
