Things You Can Hear

What it is: an app for teaching and testing sound-action associations.

What you do with it: shake the device, listen to a sound and try to pick the matching picture (e.g. wind, hen, car, sneezing etc).

What we liked: the concept, very simple operation, simple, non-distracting graphics.

What we didn't like: the choice of sounds is not consistent, some of the sounds may not be easy to recognize or associate with a picture (the 'boing' or 'whimpering' sounds). Only numerical scoring system, there is not much incentive to keep the child occupied for a longer time. No spoken instructions.
