Squirkie: Lost His Shells! HD

What it is: physics-puzzle game 4 scenes/'worlds' with 20 levels each.

What you do with it: find the way to collect as many stars as possible by shooting Squirkie's shell. Requires careful planning and timing (use various objects, moving platforms to alter the trajectory, avoid obstacles). As you progress there are more and more features and the puzzles get more challenging.

What we liked: the concept. Develops planning and timing skills and good eye-hand coordination. Good variety of levels/challenges. Fun factor. Easy controls, including visual trajectory clue.

What we didn't like: limited educational value. May be too challenging for less game-savvy kids (parental assistance may be required). Prominent Facebook links.

Note about in-app purchases: the in-app purchase is not mandatory (it just unlocks all the levels).
