Smart Fish: Magic Matrix HD - Common Core Concepts of Measurements and Data for Kindergarten and 1st Grade (K.MD.3 + 1.MD.4)

What it is: a set of activities for sorting and categorization practice. 15 levels with increasing difficulty.

What you do with it: place a set of cards in the correct row or column based on their attributes (e.g. color, shape, category). Categories include: colors, shapes, numbers, quantities, nature etc.

What we liked: the concept, variety of categories, easy operation. A very good tool for introducing the concept of tables and matrices.

What we didn't like: we found parts of the interface with the 'talking Eagle Ray' a bit distracting. No prompts/clues (that's why we recommend parental assistance). You are asked to log-in to the Yogiplay Center every time you start the app.
