Sam's Superheroes

Best for: Interactive books, Attention & concentration, Early literacy, Interaction, Language
What it is: Fantasy, Manga-style interactive book with a set of virtual stickers.
What you do with it: listen to the narration or read the book yourself. Touch the characters and objects for interaction. Create, save and share your own sticker scenes with animated objects/stickers taken from the main story (about a hundred objects include backgrounds, 'heroes' and 'villains' character sets, the extras) .
What we liked: interactive elements complementing the story, good narration, the sticker activity (number of stickers, simple editing options, stickers are animated - you can even 'play' the scene after it is finished), visual instructions.
What we didn't like: the story may not appeal to all children (we recommend you try the free version first). Navigation is not consistent. Limited reading/following text options (no simple option to repeat a page, words are not highlighted when read out)
Bottom line: an interesting proposition for the 'superheroes vs. villains' action comic-style books.
