What it is:a maze-like puzzle game with over 75 levels.
What you do with it: guide the main character through maze-like puzzles and rescue the required number of penguins for each scene. You get additional points for clearing all the ice pieces along the way. The main challenge is to carefully plan your route several steps ahead as the pieces of ice break when you walk over them (you can't walk over the same piece again). As you progress you get more features (like some pieces of ice can be stepped on twice) but the puzzles get more challenging.
What we liked: the concept (the game requires planning and logical thinking), easy controls, nice graphics, the Undo function, no time constraints.
What we didn't like: there is not much educational value, parental assistance is required (to explain the tasks and help with more challenging levels). Some sort of visual clues would be handy. May not be too compelling to all kids (you may wish to try the free version first).
In app purchases the app has in-app purchase option which unlocks all the puzzles at once (but we understand it is not required when you choose to finish all puzzles one by one by yourself).
