Pango Build Safari : kids 3-8

What it is and what you do with it: a virtual blocks set with interactive functions.

Create your own safari park with a variety of fixtures and props and fill it up with funny African animals.

First design the baseplate using tiles representing various surfaces as water, sand, savannah etc. Add fixtures and props: rocks, tents, huts, trees (some come with swings or slides), fences, bushes etc., finally add animals (8 animals to choose from) to complete the design.

Once the design is finished, you can start playing with Pango characters. For example you can drive them in a bus for a safari tour, make them jump from the waterfall, dance around the fire or go sailing on the river.

What we liked: the concept. Good variety of blocks and props. Editable features (size, orientation). Tons of interactive features (e.g. 'working' slides or swings). Humor and fun factor (the animals can get really silly). Optional first person camera view. Templates for beginners to customize (of course you can start with a blank slate). Attention to detail. No ads or other distractive features.

What we didn't like: no instructions or tutorial.
