Maddie and Matt Values App - Android version
Overall Score: 51/100
version reviewed: 1.1

Best for: Education, Language, Personal & social
What it is: an interactive book (26 scenes) helping to teach manners and politeness. 2 extra activities (coloring pages and photo frames).
What you do with it: choose a scene, read the description of the scene (e.g. Matt is strolling down the park when he sees and old couple sitting on a bench. Matt gives the old lady a flower). Then read the question or the description of the problem (Matt has brought _____ to the old lady), then point to the correct answer choosing from joy/justice/jitter.
The pages also contain some random 'facts', related to the objects on the pages (e.g. on the page featuring a dog you can learn about Picasso's dog named Lump).
What we liked: the concept.
What we didn't like: no narration (parental assistance is necessary for reading the descriptions and questions and explaining the words). The pages are very static. The navigation is very complex and requires unnecessary steps. Prominent links to Facebook and Twitter. The 'extra' activities (coloring and photo frame) are very basic.
