Kronopedia - Visual Arts premium

What it is: an interactive encyclopedia covering history of art from 13th to 21th century.

What you do with it: view the entries (text+illustrations) using a timeline-based interface ('artists' and 'periods & movements' modes).

What we liked: the concept and the interface.

What we didn't like: not too kid-friendly (lots of long blocks of text). We wish there were more visuals and more interaction (e.g. you cannot zoom on the paintings). The search function didn't work too well for us.
