Kids shape puzzle animals alphabet & colors

What it is: a set of 16 slide-in puzzles for teaching basic English and Hebrew words (over 100 words for colors, shapes, animals, letters, numbers, vehicles, musical instruments, etc). There are 8-26 pieces each puzzle.

What you do with it: slide each piece into place to hear the name of the object. Some objects have additional sounds associated with them (e.g. musical instruments will 'play' some notes). In the alphabet puzzle you match the letter with an object whose name starts with the letter.

What we liked: the concept (learning words while solving puzzles), very simple operation, good variety of subjects.

What we didn't like: the illustrations are not too inspiring. You can't turn the background music off. The age range is too wide: most of the puzzles are targeted at the 2-3 year olds, while the alphabet puzzle is aimed ad much older kids (for whom, on the other hand, the other puzzles will be too simple).
