What it is: an app for teaching basic arithmetic skills.

What you do with it: each flower in the garden needs the exact number of water 'drops'. This number must be matched by pouring water from watering cans of different sizes. For example, on the easiest level to water the flower with 5 drops you just use 2 and 3 drop watering cans (thus solving the 2+3=5 equation). The problems get more and more difficult while you progress (there are 30 levels in the app), you may need to empty, refill, or share the water among different sized cans to get the right amount

What we liked: the concept and great educational value.

What we didn't like: we found this app not quite intuitive (some children may need parental help). The numbers and equations displayed after you attempt to solve the problem appear and disappear too fast (for better reinforcement the solved equation could be displayed again after all the animations finish). No voice instructions or comments. May not be too appealing visually for the target age group. For even more educational value some sort of visual prompts/guides (how to solve the difficult levels) could be considered.

Bottom line: a nice set of arithmetic puzzles with great educational value.
