Read the story or listen to the narration and dialogues. Touch objects/characters on pages for simple animations and interactions.

Complete 5 extra tasks while reading the book (collect leaves, smash pumpkins, play sequences on the piano etc).

Two customization options: carve a pumpkin and create your own avatar for the book (both will be used in the story).

What we liked: the story. Illustrations and animations. Sounds and sound backgrounds. Narration and voice acting. Good reading features (including words highlighting and the option to have single words read out by the narrator). Extra features complementing the storyline, including customization options and achievement badges. Overall quality of the app.

What we didn't like: some of the interactions are very basic (e.g. the character will just jump when touched). The extra activities may be difficult to find at first. External links (Facebook). Some parents may find the behavior and language of some of the characters inappropriate for younger kids.
