Counting Ants
Overall Score: 55/100

Best for: Education, Attention & concentration, Early math, Eye-hand coordination, Interaction
What it is: a simple counting app (counting from 1 through 10).
What you do with it: learn to count by playing 4 minigames (counting fish in the pond, counting ducks crossing the road, counting train cars and fruit). Each game is accompanied by an additional activity - pointing to the correct number.
What we liked: the concept, nice simple illustrations and animations and the 'ants' theme, easy operation, 10 language versions.
What we didn't like: the activities are very simple and repetitive. No voice instructions (parental assistance is necessary). Only linear navigation (you must go from numbers 1 to 10). Could have more educational value (e.g. when you 'count' the fish the numbers are not read out).
