Cato's Hike

What it is/what you do with it: a puzzle game introducing kids to various programming and problem solving concepts.

Use a variety of programming tools like loops, branches, labels and simple memory units to help Cato solve puzzles and find stars.

There are 60 play levels plus 12 tutorials.

What we liked:the concept. Good variety of programming tools and concepts. Challenging puzzles. 12 tutorial levels. The option to create your own maps/puzzles.

What we didn't like: no hints (we recommend parental assistance). The learning curve may be too steep for some kids.
