IdentiKat - a game for creative children & cats

What it is: an app for creating cat pictures from 'bits and pieces' (buttons, brooches, fabrics), including 6 ready-made pics/puzzles.

What you do with it: create your cat using various pieces for the head, eyes, nose, mouth, whiskers, ears, body etc. (with options like flip, rotate, change color, undo etc). The finished picture can be saved to the photo library.

The app also contains 6 puzzles (cat pictures) - break them up and try to re-create the cat in the picture.

What we liked: the concept, beautiful illustrations, ease of use, fun factor, number and quality of items to build the cats with, lots of subtle details (animations, sounds), sounds and sound backgrounds great looking results, overall quality of the app.

What we didn't like: requires switching between the landscape (for the menu) and portrait (for the actual play) modes. We wish there were more accessories to choose from.
