Best apps for 4 year old boys and girls.

4 year old children need apps that will help them expand their vocabulary (usually at the age of 4 they know more than 1000 words and this number is larger every day). 4 year olds speak in complete sentences and the apps that help kids develop their language skills are very useful. Preschoolers also love to ask a lots of questions and tell stories, they can also answer simple questions related to the story so interactive books (read with parents or by narrator) are popular among kids this age. As for math apps and games, for 4 year olds we recommend apps with naming numbers up to 10 (or more) and simple counting (as kindergarten children understand the concept of counting). 4 year olds can't tell the time but know different stages of the day so the apps teaching how to tell the time will be helpful but not necessary (they can be more useful for 5 year olds). 4 year old kids know basic shapes and love to solve puzzles so e.g. applications with sorting by shapes and colors or simple jigsaw puzzles would be great for them.
