Toto and the Leopards
Overall Score: 56/100
version reviewed: 1.1
reviewed:
Best for: Interactive books, Attention & concentration, Early literacy, Interaction, Language
What it is: An interactive book about the adventures of a cute car called Toto.
What you do with it: read the book yourself or listen to the narration. Touch the objects on the screen for extra sound effects.
What we liked: nice illustrations, cute main character, nice story.
What we didn't like: text is not highlighted when it is read by the narrator, limited navigation options (only page forward/page back, no bookmarking option). Very limited interaction (no animations, just sound effects). Audio quality could be better. The producers could consider adding more American or English sounding narrator for the markets outside of India.
General notes about our book reviews: although when reviewing books, we try not to review the story itself, the general impressions will be reflected in the Overall Score.
The Age Range assigned to books will be usually broader compared to other apps, as they can be useful for both younger (with parent/narrator reading) or older (reading on their own) kids.
