The Nutcracker Story

What it is: a collection of fun games and activities with the Nutcracker theme.

What you do with it: features/activities:

- animated intro (about 2 minutes long)

- 6 interactive rooms with simple activities like dress-up games, cake decorating, playing with toy soldiers etc.

- 7 educational activities (counting, memory game, letter tracing, mazes, matching, sorting, patterns)

- a short narrated story

What we liked: number and variety of activities based on the original theme, beautiful illustrations, music (rendering of Tchaikovsky's ballet score), overall quality of the app. Our favorite activities: the maze game and tracing activity.

What we didn't like: the 'room' activities are a bit simple and will appeal only to younger kids. The 'educational' activities are not as good as standalone specialized (counting, tracing etc) apps. The 'storybook' is very simple (5 screens, no text - just narration).
