Rocket Speller PLUS

What it is/what you do with it: spelling practice with over 450 words (Creatures, Around the House, The Basics, Food). 5 difficulty levels (from 3-6 letter words with audible and visual hints to 7-10 letter words without hints).

Spell all the words from a given set to build and 'fly' your rocket in a simple mini-game.

What we liked: the concept. Wide range of words divided into 5 difficulty groups. Switchable Phonics/Letter Names option. Ease of use. Good educational value. No distracting elements.

What we didn't like: the rewards system (building and flying the rocket) may not be engaging enough for the target age group. No option to define word lists. We would prefer an adult narration (as an option).
