What it is: an interactive book (12 pages long) by Anna Grossnickle Hines.
What you do with it: listen to the story (or 'read it yourself') and try to find Bear by interacting with the objects in the scenes (e.g. open the cupboard, remove the cushions from the sofa etc.). Touch other objects for interactions or sounds.
What we liked: the story, simple illustrations, actions and interactions complementing the story, good narration, kid-friendly sound backgrounds.
What we didn't like: the animations are very simple, the interactive objects could be more responsive. Only linear navigation. Puzzling stop/go buttons. The reading options could be better (you can touch individual words to hear them but you can't repeat the whole paragraph).
Bottom line: a charming interactive story suitable even for smallest kids.
General notes about our book reviews: although when reviewing books, we try not to review the story itself, the general impressions will be reflected in the Overall Score.
The Age Range assigned to books will be usually broader compared to other apps, as they can be useful for both younger (with parent/narrator reading) or older (reading on their own) kids.
