What it is: an interactive anatomy app for children (growing, skin, senses, digestive system, respiratory system, circular system, muscular system, nervous system, skeleton).
What you do with it: explore each subsystem of a human body: browse through the pages, listen to the narration (explanations how systems work, interesting facts about human body etc.), play with interactive animations (e.g. food traveling through the digestive system) or puzzles (e.g. complete the skeleton) or answer simple quizzes (e.g. how much do fingernails grow each month). Complete the activities to collect stars to unlock the 'Anatomy Expert Certificate'.
What we liked: the concept, broad range of educational material presented in a kid-friendly way, simple illustrations, audio guide.
What we didn't like: the navigation is unnecessarily complex. Some of the concepts are presented and illustrated in a better way than the others. Many of the interactive elements are too simple to be engaging. The majority of the 'extra facts' pages are just long blocks of text.
Bottom line: a very interesting concept but complex navigation makes this app difficult to use (that's why we recommend parental assistance).
