Mine Rescue!

What it is/what you do with it: casual puzzle game/brain teaser.

Dig (draw) your way through the mine to solve puzzles to help your miner character reach the exit of each level.

Most puzzles require a combination of items available in the level in proper arrangement and order. Those items may include boulders (to plug holes or fill water ditches), planks (for building bridges) or boxes that can be pushed around to create stairs or ramps.

Collect coins and diamonds on your way (extra difficulty on each level) to exchange them for items to decorate your miner's cave.

Puzzles are divided into 20 themed levels (e.g. explosives, water, lava).

What we liked: the concept. 400 levels with increasing difficulty. Hints. Good for logical thinking/planning practice.

What we didn't like: ads (can be removed with iAP).
