Grandma's Garden

What it is: a pack of 5 simple activities for development and strengthening early math skills.

What you do with it: the activities include: pointing to the correct shape (8 basic shapes), a memory game (with 8 items), counting vegetables (from 1 to 8), recognizing letters of the alphabet, learning the colors by coloring vegetables. As a reward you get an item from Grandma's bag (or sometimes Grandma will let you kiss her cheek).

What we liked: simple tasks, simple graphics, funny characters, spoken instructions, the option to choose which activities will be included during the play.

What we didn't like: rather limited educational value (e.g. counting only to 8, only 4 letters of the alphabet, 6 colors), the activities quickly get repetitive (the reward system is too simple to keep the child interested). Only linear navigation. The audio instructions and narration get lost in the background music (fortunately the music can be turned off).
